KUSA - An “unruly” Greyhound bus passenger prompted Colorado State Patrol to close a stretch of eastbound Interstate 70 near the Vail Pass Summit early Monday morning after they took off running down the highway.
A spokesperson for Colorado State Patrol says the bus was headed eastbound on I-70 when the passenger became disruptive. The driver pulled over – and that’s when the passenger in question got off the bus and took off running.
The passenger was later taken into custody and will be taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The highway was able to reopen fairly quickly.
