GEORGETOWN - It was a rough Thursday afternoon for drivers and ice cream lovers alike after a semi truck caught fire along Interstate 70.
The Colorado State Patrol says all eastbound lanes of the highway were closed at Georgetown due to the fire. Westbound traffic is moving but it's not moving very fast.

According to a tweet from CSP, the truck was carrying ice cream. As you can imagine, all of that delicious cargo was lost in the fire.
It's believed that overheated brakes on the truck sparked the fire. The eastbound lanes reopened just after 6 p.m., but traffic was still moving very slowly through the area.
