DENVER - A previously unexciting viaduct spanning miles beneath I-70 just got a makeover.
Artists with Denver Arts and Venues have painted murals on the concrete walls between Brighton Boulevard and York Street.
After working for several days, they finished Saturday. Artists used their imaginations and talents on an unconventional canvas.
This is part of the area that CDOT wants to tear it down eventually as part of its plan to move that section of I-70 below ground and add a landscape cover on top.
That project is controversial and still in the approval stages.
