Two of the breaks caused traffic delays for morning commuters.
The biggest break happened at Sheridan Boulevard and 17th Avenue. A 16-inch pipe broke causing Denver Water to close one lane of traffic each way on Sheridan between 17th Avenue and 20th Avenue. Repairs will last throughout Thursday and three customers will be without water while the repairs take place.
