Frontier Airlines slips on complaints, on-time rate

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - After showing improvement on timely flying and passenger complaints in February, Frontier Airlines backslid a bit in March, according to a monthly federal report today.

The Denver-based carrier posted an on-time arrival rate of 79.3 percent in March at U.S. airports, down from 82.3 percent in February, according to the new Air Travel Consumer Report from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Frontier’s on-time rate for March was just under the average of 79.9 percent for 12 major airlines, the DOT’s report said. It ranked seventh out of the 12 airlines.

Frontier is the third-busiest carrier at Denver International Airport by passenger counts.
