For the Denver area light rain showers will continue until midnight. After midnight the rain may mix with snow but there will no accumulation on paved surfaces.

For foothills areas between 6,000 and 9,000 feet 1 to 3 inches of wet snow will fall overnight.

Above 9,000 feet a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until 6 am Sunday for very strong wind, limited visibility and 4 to 9 inches of new snow.

Overnight lows in the Denver area will be in the middle 30s.
