Crews are plowing Independence Pass

KUSA - Fall, it’s like Independence Pass hardly knew you.

A photo shared by the National Weather Service – Pueblo Wednesday morning shows snow – a lot of snow – on Independence Pass.

There’s so much snow that a plow was seen hard at work! The mountains also have a dusting of the cold white stuff.

It makes sense that it might be a little more wintry on Independence Pass, though - the summit's at 12,095 feet.
