DENVER - Heavy rain and hail swept through Denver Tuesday afternoon, leaving behind flooding and downed branches in spots.
The weather delayed the Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field, where the grass was seemingly covered with hail.

Flooding was also seen in the area of West 38th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, as well as on Interstate 25.
The fast-moving storm blew southeast across the Denver metro area.
Xcel says around 4,000 customers are without power -- mostly in the Highlands area and through central Denver around Capitol Hill.
It took a few hours to restore power.
