9NEWS Forecast News

Forecast by: Meteorologist Ashton Altieri Last updated:

A cold front has stalled out over the Front Range this afternoon. The front will keep temperatures in the 70s and lower 80s today.

We expect at least a few thunderstorms to develop over the foothills and Palmer Divide by late this afternoon. The storms may then move northwest over the Denver area. Large hail and strong winds are possible but widespread severe weather is not expected.

The chance for isolated thunderstorms will end this evening. Skies will then become mostly clear as temperatures drop into the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.
