Milder weekend before cold air arrives

KUSA - The storm bringing cooler air into the state has moved south along the U.S.-Mexico border, taking most of the moisture to the south of the Front Range.

Cloudy skies with periods of light snow for the Denver Metro Area up to Northern Colorado.  Accumulations of only a trace to up to 1/2 inch are possible.

Near Monument Hill, and in the foothills snow of 1 to 3 inches is forecast by late Friday evening.

A milder weekend awaits us before the first Arctic air of the season arrives early next week.
