As for 9NEWS Mountain Newsroom Reporter Matt Renoux, he was at the Eisenhower Tunnel, where snow coated the roads.

Interstate 70 was closed in the area for a while Thursday morning due to a wreck, but has since reopened.

Eastbound I-70 is closed at Vail due to multiple spun-out vehicles. There's no estimated time for reopening. The Colorado Department of Transportation says to expect delays.

US 6 is also closed at Loveland Pass due to a wreck involving a tanker truck.
