Fort Collins police win the spring storm with this witty tweet

The post claims that spring's temp's have been stolen.

FORT COLLINS - We live in Colorado. Sometimes it snows in May. Sometimes it's 80 degrees in November.

Most of us who live here have come to expect some wacky weather.

The Fort Collins Police Department certainly has a positive outlook on the whole slushy, cold, wet, late May spring snowstorm.

Has anyone seen spring? It's the season that comes after winter where it stops snowing.

Just to throw in another weather cliche... if you don't like the weather in Colorado just wait a few minutes.

We'll be back to our famous glorious sunshine by the weekend. (Saturday, according to meteorologist Danielle Grant).

Be safe out there and stay warm!
