People visiting Colorado for Thanksgiving totally overpacked

Don't pack the long Johns. No, seriously.

KUSA - Sure, folks from out-of-state might think Colorado is a winter paradise – which it is, sometimes.
But temperatures are expected to reach the 70s on Thanksgiving, and that means some out of town visitors wasted some serious suitcase space on long Johns.

For the record, Denver International Airport is expecting 1.15 million passengers from Nov. 21 to Nov. 27.

One of them is Angela Allen. She came to Denver from Atlanta, where it’s 40 degrees. She thought Denver would be colder.

“And I have a luggage full of sweaters and boots so yeah I might have to do some shopping while I'm here,” she said.

Sunday is expected to be the busiest travel day of the weekend.

DIA is expected 192,000 people to pass through – and they’re adding more TSA agents to keep the lines moving.

Many of those people might feel like they over-packed for their journey to Denver.
