KTVD - YOUR SHOW began this week by posing your questions to Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colorado). ![]() The 7th District Representative answered your queries on Chrysler's bankruptcy, the H1N1 flu and its impact on the debate over illegal immigration, bonuses he paid out to his employees, the savings incurred by the switch a couple years ago to an earlier Daylight Saving Time, foreclosures, partisanship and health care reform. Viewers who participated included: Cheryl Doyle, JM Fay, Richard Romero, Matthew Nicholas, Eric Scott, Gregg Herrell, Bruce Humphrey, Adam Mitchell, Al Santangelo, Tamara Traxler, Jean Christie, Joseph McClelan, Ron Sybert, Steve Jensen, Patty Sullivan and Bill Semple. YOUR SHOW then segued to Energy Secretary Steven Chu, who was at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) last week. Dr. Chu, a Nobel Prize winner, was in town to announce millions of dollars being directed toward the Golden lab. Secretary Chu answered your questions afterwards on topics like oil shale, conservation, and the profitability or lack thereof currently, of renewable technologies. Viewers whose questions we asked were Glenn Dotter of Cotopaxi, Larry Sessions, Curt Moore from Grand Junction and James Mortinsen. This upcoming week, YOUR SHOW will look back at the 2009 Colorado General Assembly and ask your questions to House Speaker Terrance Carroll (D-Denver) and incoming Senate President Brandon Shaffer (D-Longmont). We also will catch up with Food Network star and celebrity chef Guy Fieri on Friday via satellite.
