More storms likely Monday afternoon, evening

The northeast could once again be the bull's-eye for some storms to reach severe levels as they did yesterday.

DENVER — FORECAST BY: Ed Greene

THE FORECAST AT A GLANCE: Cloudy, cooler and wetter weather arrives for the first half of this week, then a quick turn around as we warm to around 80 degrees in Denver by Thursday.

A cold front pushed through the northeast overnight and that will not only cool our temperatures somewhat, but will also provide a wind out of the northeast resulting in upslope conditions that could give us another round of rather active weather over the eastern plains.

The northeast could once again be the bullseye for some storms to reach severe levels as they did yesterday. Rainfall will continue over the east into Tuesday and above 8500 feet snow could add up to around 5 inches over some northern locations.

Temperatures briefly warm Thursday and will then be relatively seasonal Friday, through the weekend and into next week with a chance for that late storm each day.
