The Broncos are headed in the wrong direction. So what exactly is dragging them down?
Drew Litton's latest cartoon may offer a little insight.
Sunday night's loss to the Patriots makes five in a row. The offensive line has been shuffled and the quarterback has been swapped, but the skid continues.
Linebacker Von Miller insists coaching isn't the issue.
"It's a tough deal that we've been dealt and it's a tough situation, but it's just not coaching,'' said Miller. "We just have to find a way to win games.''
But the Broncos aren't winning games. They aren't even coming close. Each of the last five losses has been by 10 or more points. That hasn't happened since the 1963-64 season.
The scores haven't been close. The offense can't put up points. And the special teams allowed a block and a kickoff return touchdown on Sunday.
So where do we go from here? A decision needs to be made because as it stands, the losing Broncos aren't going anywhere.
