So, did you know that 2018 is the Year of the Dog in the Chinese Zodiac?

People born in a “Dog” year are “Dog” people – loyal, honest, brave and kind.

Dogs are selfless and have a strong sense of justice.

They are always ready to help others.

Famous Dogs include Confucius, Benjamin Franklin, Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa and Elvis Presley, among others.

Chinese culture in Colorado is stronger than people may realize.

At one time there was a Chinatown in Denver, in the area now known as the Ballpark Neighborhood and LoDo.

At its peak in the 19th century, Colorado was home to about 1,400 Chinese immigrants.
