DENVER — Kelly Reinke is a reporter at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado.
Kelly joined 9NEWS in March 2021.
She is thrilled to be telling stories in beautiful Colorado and living closer to family in California and Montana.
Kelly graduated from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She majored in broadcast journalism and minored in political science.
Kelly began her journalism career in Knoxville, Tennessee at WATE. During her time in Rocky Top, she covered the deadly Gatlinburg wildfires in 2016 and the opioid epidemic.
She then spent almost three years working as a reporter at FOX59 and CBS4 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her work included investigations into the way Indiana tracks law enforcement officers who have been convicted of crimes and discrepancies in data that tracks the performance of the state's nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her several internships in college and opportunities in Indiana and Tennessee helped Kelly learn from some of the best in the business and ignited her passion for journalism.
Kelly is grateful and honored to be a member of the 9NEWS team.

- She flew 750 mph and hit 9Gs in an F-16 Viper.
- She is the first girl to be born on her dad's side of the family in more than 100 years.
- As a Spirit Leader at USC, she led stadium-wide chants and cheers at football games and traveled with the team.
