DENVER — Laura Casillas is a Bilingual Digital Desk Producer at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado.
Laura joined the 9NEWS team in June 2021.
A Colorado native with strong roots in Mexico, Laura graduated from Metropolitan State University and Denver's North High School.
Most recently, Laura was the Editor and Chief at The Metropolitan and before that she collaborated with Denver Promo and Variedades 720 covering stories in the community. Laura loves being able to write stories in Spanish.
Some of Laura's interests include hiking, running and traveling.
Laura volunteers at JAMLAC and on her days off you can find her hanging out with her family, friends or her dog, Oliver.
