DENVER — Victor Hernandez is a Bilingual Digital Desk Producer at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado.

Before joining the 9NEWS team in 2021, Victor spent a year at TEGNA Commercial Operations Department as an inventory specialist in Denver.

Victor previously worked as an assignment desk editor for Univision 23 WLTV in South Florida, a copywriter for WSVN 7 News, and an assistant producer at WSUA, a Spanish news/talk radio station.

Before joining the TEGNA family, he was a self-taught digital marketing manager freelancer working remotely for a few small South Florida businesses (vocational schools, title companies, realtors, among others).

He moved to Colorado in 2017 and enjoys skiing, hiking and looking out for sports bars with the best wheat beer. Victor's a soccer fan and spends lots of his free time watching Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga soccer matches.

Victor is a U.S. Army veteran who served in the United States and South Korea during his 4.5-year service. 

Before serving, he attended Florida International University. He obtained his bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in communications focusing on journalism, a second major in International Relations and an academic certificate in Latin American and Caribbean studies in 2011.
