'The Muppet Movie' returns to theaters for 40th anniversary

Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Fozzie Bear are preparing to grace the silver screen once again.

COLORADO, USA — Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and the entire Muppet gang will return to the big screen for two days this July.

"The Muppet Movie" will play in theaters nationwide on Thursday, July 25 and Tuesday, July 30 in celebration of the film's 40th anniversary.

The critically-acclaimed movie features memorable music, including the timeless classic "Rainbow Connection." 

The movie is set to play at numerous theaters in Colorado including AMC Highlands Ranch 24, Regal Denver Pavilions 15, Historic Park Theatre, AMC Castle Rock 12, AMC Southlands 16, Regal River Point 14 and more.
