Bikini Kill coming to Red Rocks next fall

Feminist punk band Bikini Kill is coming to Colorado next October for a show at Red Rocks.

MORRISON, Colorado — Punk rock band Bikini Kill is coming to Colorado next fall for a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.  

The feminist band from Olympia, Wash. will play the iconic venue on Oct. 21, 2020. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. 

Kathleen Hanna will be on vocals, Tobi Vail on drums, and Kathi Wilcox on bass. Guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle will also join the band for the tour. 

Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. on AXS.com. Prices range from $45 to $75, plus fees. A select amount of presale tickets will be available for $35. 

Bikini Kill is credited with instigating the Riot grrrl movement in the early 90s through their political lyrics and confrontational live shows. 

Located just west of the Mile High City, Red Rocks Park features 738 acres of hiking trails, geological wonders and astounding views.  

Owned and operated by the City of Denver, Colorado, the concert venue at Red Rocks Park has been home to some of the most iconic concerts in history, from artists such as The Beatles, U2, and Sting.
