Tool announces Colorado arena concert

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Following a pair of sold-out concerts at Pepsi Center last fall, Tool has announced their Colorado return this spring.

Tool will perform a concert at Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs on Friday, June 19 with special guest The Acid Helps.

The announcement comes on the heels of Tool's sold-out Australian tour.

Tickets for the Colorado tour date go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at AXS.com. Prices range from $100 to $150.

A limited number of VIP packages will be made available exclusively to Tool Army members via Toolband.com/vip-package beginning Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.

Tool recently took home the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song “7empest."  The band's first album in 13 years, "Fear Inoculum," was released last August.

Originally formed in 1990, Tool consists of Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals).
