You can see the Rolling Stones for $50 (plus fees) but tickets are going quick

Presale for the Rolling Stones "No Filter" tour began on Wednesday, leaving fans with long wait times in the "virtual waiting room" and high ticket prices once they were allowed inside.

One of our producers at 9NEWS spent more than an hour in the waiting room (at one point, there were 2,000+ people in front of him) before he could even scout for tickets.

Floor tickets in section D are going for more than $850, but there's a good chance those are gone if you're reading this; there were only 13 of those left at 11 a.m.

Those who don't mind the walk up to the nosebleeds might still have luck - it seemed like there were plenty of tickets still left in the 500 sections for $49.95, plus fees.

In section 521, row 9, a ticket would set you back $133.95. In that same section, but 10 rows back, the price was $69.50. In row 31 of that section, you could snag the cheapest price we saw - $49.50 plus fees. Overall, that's an $84 difference over 22 rows.

Want the chance to have Mick Jagger sweat on you? Pit tickets (there are two pits flanking the stage) are upwards of $1,500. They're of course standing room only, so wear your Sketchers.

Ticketmaster itself said on its website there was "high demand" for tickets and availability was limited.

"You may find more ticket opens available for platinum, single and upper level seating as you shop," it read.

The Stone's 13-city stadium tour kicks off April 20 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium and ends June 21 at Chicago's Soldier Field.

All tickets for the U.S. tour go on sale Friday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m., according to Rolling Stones.
