Former Denver Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware has joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars season 27, ABC revealed Wednesday morning.

"Yoooooo! I don’t know what I got myself into but I’ve been itching for another trophy....let’s get this Mirrorball," Ware tweeted Wednesday.

Ware was signed by the Denver Broncos in 2014, and helped lead the team to victory in Super Bowl 50. He retired in March 2017 after 12 NFL seasons.

Ware will be partnered with professional dancer Lindsay Arnold. Arnold has been paired with several other pro athletes in the past including former NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar last season and she came in third when partnered with former NFL player Calvin Johnson.

Ware is not the first Broncos player to appear on the show. Broncos lincebacker Von Miller competed in spring of 2016 but was eliminated in week 7.

Other celebrity competitors this season include Bobby Bones (radio host), Milo Manheim (Disney Channel), Danielle Umstead (alpine skier). Umstead will be the first visually impaired contestant according to TeamUSA.org.

Umstead, 46, made her Paralympic debut in 2010 and won bronze medals in downhill and super combined, the TeamUSA.org website said. She defended her super combined bronze medal in 2014 and made her third Paralympic Games appearance last March. She competes with her sighted guide and husband, Rob, whom she met while skiing in New Mexico.

Umstead is dancing with Artem Chigvintsev.

Additional cast members include Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile (Bachelor in Paradise), John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard), Nancy McKeon (The Facts of Life) and Mary Lou Retton (retired gymnast).

Retton, 50, won the all-around gold medal in gymnastics at the Olympic Games Los Angeles 1984. She also earned a pair of silver medals in team and vault and bronze medals in uneven bars and floor exercise.

At the time, her five Olympic medals made her the most decorated woman in American gymnastics. She was the first American woman to win an all-around gold medal. She will be paired with professional dancer Sasha Farber, who last season finished third with two-time Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding.

The rest of the cast includes Tinashe (singer), Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House), Nikki Glaser (Trainwreck), Alexis Ren (Maxim magazine), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter).

The new season starts Sept. 24.
