Jordan Peele to host 'Twilight Zone' revival on CBS All Access

Oscar-winning director Jordan Peele will host 'The Twilight Zone' on CBS All Access.

"Get Out" director and writer Jordan Peele is stepping into "The Twilight Zone" – as host, that is.

CBS announced Thursday that Peele will serve as host and narrator for the revival of the show on CBS All Access. The original Rod Serling "Twilight Zone" ran for five seasons from 1959 to 1964, and has long been synonymous with sci-fi, fantasy and horror with messages on social issues.

The network said last year that Peele would produce the reboot, with his Monkeypaw Productions in association with CBS Television Studios and Simon Kinberg's Genre Films.

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time but prophesied issues of ours,” Peele said in a CBS press release. “I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of ‘The Twilight Zone.’”
