It's crunch time. The last shopping weekend before Christmas. Do yourself a favor and take a break from the holiday madness and take in some events that are brewing right in your own backyard. Along with Westrock Coffee, we have some fun ways for you to unwind, give back and get involved in your community.
Cirque Éloize - Hotel
Get into the Christmas spirit by taking in some theatre at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
Right now, catch Cirque Éloize - Hotel playing at the Buell Theatre. The stylish production combines acrobatics, dance, live music - and amazing aerial shows. The story centers around an art-deco hotel - where the staff and guest collide in all kinds of hilarious ways. Think - Cirque du Soleil meets the British TV show Faulty Towers...
Made up of an international cast and based in Montreal, Canada, Cirque Éloize celebrates its 25th year with this latest production. Cirque Éloize - Hotel is at the Buell theatre from now through Sunday. Find tickets at DenverCenter.org.
Next, take in some winter wonderland magic at the Ice Castles in Dillion which officially opens today. Bundle up and explore the 40-foot towers, whoosh down the slides, crawl through tunnels, and take in the fountains and igloos. Some pro-tips for you: Buy your tickets in advance, skip the stroller and pull the kiddos along on a sled and be sure to take tons of photos! Not that we'll have to encourage you to do that! General admission tickets start at $15.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids ages 4 to 11. Find details at IceCastles.com/Dillion.
