SeaQuest Opens

First let’s dive right to the opening of SeaQuest (get it, dive?) on Saturday, June 2 at the Southwest Plaza Mall in Littleton.

If you’ve never been to a SeaQuest – prepare to be amazed. The aquarium offers hand-on exhibits, showcasing unique reptiles, sharks, stingrays and other aquatic animals. Journey through 20,000 square feet of interactive adventures from across the globe.

Kick Up Some Dirt in Hugo!

Next up – grab your cowboy hats and dust off your boots – the Colorado Prairie Music Festival kicks off this weekend at the Lincoln Fairgrounds in Hugo. The fun starts at 6 p.m. on Friday with team-roping, a beer garden and dancing under the stars.

On Saturday, June 2, the Fairgrounds open at 2 p.m. with a kid zone, face painting, and a train. Country singer Kimberley Dunn gets the music started at 6 p.m. on the main stage followed The Randall King Band and then headliner Josh Abbott Band at 8 p.m. The festival concludes on Sunday with a Cowboy Breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by Cowboy Church.

Tickets are just $25 or $100 for VIP tickets, which include front row seats, free VIP parking, a free drink and pictures with the band. Kids ages 6 to 12 are $10 and kiddos under 6 are free.

Denver Chalk Art Festival

And finally break out the chalk and head downtown for the annual Denver Chalk Art Festival. More than 200 of artists will use the pavement on Larimer Square as a giant canvass to display their amazing works of art. The free fun kicks off on Saturday, June 2 at 10 a.m. and continues all through Sunday.
