Elitch Gardens Opens for Summer!

Hang on to your hats, Elitch Gardens is back for some hair-raising fun under the sun! The Denver amusement park officially opens on Saturday Aapril 28th for its 128th season, making this the unofficial start to the summer. From the Boomerang to the Brain Drain – all your favorite rides are back!

New this year, Elitch Gardens is offering a park pass just for kids. The new Pre-K Pass means children three to five years old will get free admission to the theme and water parks all year.

“There are 14 pint-sized rides just for the little ones just in Kiddie Land alone,” said Jolie DuBois, Communications Manager for Elitch Gardens. “There’s the Goofy Gazebo and we have a kids coaster. We have something for all ages, there’s the Big Wheel and the carousel – something for everyone!”

For all those big kids out there, Elitch Gardens offers a season pass for only $69.99, which means the pass pays for itself in just two visits! The pass includes unlimited visits and perks like free parking, free tickets for friends, a souvenir cup with .99 cent refills all season, free concerts, free dive-in movies and more. Purchase the pass by April 29th to get in on all the fun.

Get Your Lacrosse On

For those lacrosse lovers out there … check out the Colorodo Mammoth at the Pepsi Center on Saturday as they take on the Toronto Rock. The last home game of the season is also family and fan appreciation night. The mammoth family pack includes four tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs for only $76. A Picasso – Final Weekend!

Art and politics collide in Cherry Creek Theatre’s production of A Picasso written by award-winning playwright Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Billie McBride. Tensions arise when German occupation forces capture Cuban impressionist painter Pablo Picasso in Paris and interrogate him about the authenticity of his works. The play runs Saturday and Sunday only at the MACC Pluss Theatre at 350 S Dahlia St.
