Where you can get deals in honor of 303 Day

Many local businesses are celebrating Denver's unofficial holiday by offering deals or special releases.

DENVER — Thursday is Denver's unofficial spirit day.

March 3, colloquially known as 303 Day, is based around Denver's beloved area code. It's a day when many celebrate living in a state and city they love.

And many businesses in the area are getting in on the fun by offering deals along the 303 Day theme:

Milkbox Ice Creamery

The ice cream shop located in Union Station is selling special sundaes for $3.03

Each sundae includes a single scoop of any flavor of ice cream, topped with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles.

PigTrain Coffee

Also located inside Union Station, this coffee shop is offering "303 Lattes" for $3.03.

We aren't sure what's in the 303 Latte, but it's coffee so it's sure to be good.

Station 26 Brewing

Station 26 has an impressive lineup of deals and events to celebrate the city.

They will be serving pints of their flagship 303 Lager for $3.03 all day. They will also be tapping 303 After Dark and other limited 303 variants that haven't been announced yet throughout the day.

From 5 - 8 p.m., the brewery will host a mini-market with three local artisans. 

And the My Friends and Pie food truck will be serving hand pies starting at 4 p.m.

Natural Grocers

This healthy grocery store chain that started in the Centennial State is giving out a free reusable Colorado-themed bag and sticker on 303 Day. 

Customers can also enter a sweepstakes to win a $100 gift card. 

The store is also offering deals on Colorado products through the end of the month.

Floyd's 99 Barbershop

If you're looking for a little relaxation and pampering on your 303 Day, Floyd's is offering a shampoo and conditioner service for $3.03 at participating Denver locations.

It comes with an accompanying head massage - so sit back and enjoy.

Toro

The Latin-inspired restaurant will be serving a special Colorado Coin margarita on Wednesday, made with two locally-made spirits: Proximus tequila and Leopold Brothers Orange Liqueur. It's $15 per cocktail.

Tamayo

This contemporary Mexican restaurant will also be serving a special cocktail in honor of the unofficial holiday.

Called the "Juan Denver," the $13 margarita is made with suerte blanco tequila, cantaloupe-basil shrub, house-made sour and peach purée.
