Alice Cares for Kids Radiothon benefits Children's Hospital Colorado

AURORA, Colo. — The Alice 105.9 Cares for Kids Radiothon kicked off for the 18th time at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning to raise money for the Children's Hospital Colorado.

During the two-day event, Alice breaks from regular programming to tell stories of both past and present patients at the hospital.  From 6 a.m. until 6 p.m on Wednesday and Thursday stories of love, miracles and milestones will be shared on the radio. 

Savannah, a 13-year-old girl, who was injured in a car accident and paralyzed from the neck down is one of the patients who will share her story and give an update on her journey.

There will also be entertainment and Valentine's Day themed activities taking place in the hospital's atrium throughout the event.
