DENVER — Molson Coors Beverage Company has announced plans to send thousands of cans of water to assist Colorado's homeless population amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The beer giant has pledged to donate 50,000 cans of water to the Salvation Army Intermountain Division based out of Denver to help with the organization’s relief efforts.
The water, which is expected to arrive in Colorado on Thursday, March 27, will be distributed to the homeless and those in shelters without access to clean drinking water due to restrictions on drinking fountains to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Sunteck TTS donated the transportation of the canned water from Molson Coors’ Shenandoah Brewery in Elkton, VA to Salvation Army’s warehouse in Aurora, CO.
Once it arrives, the water will distributed to those in need starting immediately.
Last week, Molson Coors pledged $1 million to the USBG National Charity Foundation, a nonprofit that supports bartenders and other service industry workers who find themselves out of work because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
