‘Christmas For Kids’ provides the gift of giving to Denver youth

The annual 'Christmas For Kids' fundraiser, sponsored by The Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation, arrives Saturday, Dec. 15.

The "Christmas For Kids" fundraiser is an event sponsored and coordinated through the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation.

Now in it’s 28th year, the event provides underprivileged children in the Denver area the opportunity to buy and share holiday gifts with their loved ones this holiday season — an opportunity many of which wouldn’t be able to do otherwise.

Christmas For Kids is happening on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Target in Stapleton.

Each child participating in the event is chosen by Denver Active 20-30 and will receive a $100 gift card to shop with that morning.

The money is raised and collected by DA 20-30 throughout the year. This year, the foundation teamed up with Denver Kids to provide the experience for 150 Denver-area kids.
