Colorado restaurant chains say they're enhancing their maternity leave policies.

Two big chains are making changes, the latest being Broomfield-based Noodles & Company, which said its new policy is to give six weeks of fully paid maternity leave.

The company also said today it will provide $10,000 in adoption assistance and expand parental leave.

"We value and care for every one of our team members, and we aspire to make Noodles the most enjoyable and rewarding place to work in the industry," said Dave Boennighausen, CEO, in a statement.
