Fashion takes on a full week in Denver

For the first time, Denver will dedicate a full week to fashion.

DENVER - New York City, Paris, Milan, and Italy all ring bells in the fashions industry. Now Denver is keeping up with the rest of the industry.

For the past 10 years, Denver has committed one weekend in the spring and fall to fashion. It has become the largest showcase in the metro area.

303 Magazine is launching Denver Fashion Week this year. It would alter the fashion showcase from one weekend to a full week.

The bi-annual event is partnering with Denver Arts & Venues and the Paper Fashion show to grow the event.

“We recognize Denver Fashion Week as a well-primed step in supporting our fast-growing fashion industry in Denver and Colorado,” said Lisa Gedgaudas from Denver Arts & Venues.

Formerly known as Denver Fashion Weekend, Denver Fashion Week brings Denver’s fashion industry and influencers together. The week will offer workshops for designers and models and trunk shows with local boutiques and runway shows.

Stevie Boi, an NYC designer known for his work with Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Madonna will join the lineup this year. He will present an exclusive line on Thursday, March 22 of Denver Fashion Week.

The fashion showcase will use the expansion to expand its 303 DFW program. The program features a wide range of offerings including kids clothing to weddings and special occasions.

Denver Fashion Week announced its official website – DenverFashionWeek.com.

The events are March 18-25.

The Paper Fashion Show will occur on Friday, March 23 at the Denver Center For Performing Arts Seawell Ballroom (1101 13th St, Denver). The events below will take place at Wings Over the Rockies (7711 E Academy Blvd #1, Denver).
