HIGHLANDS RANCH - Burger fans in the southern Denver metro won’t have to drive to RiNo for much longer to get their hands on some Shake Shack.
The company announced plans to open their second Denver-area location on July 11 in Highlands Ranch.
The new location will occupy 3,156 square feet at 1509 Park Central Drive. It’ll have an outdoor patio, games and beers from local breweries on tap.
Along with all their regular menu offerings, Coloradans can also try the Green Chile CheddarShack, a cheeseburger with shredded white cheddar, marinated green chiles and scallions.
Like at other locations, the restaurant was built using eco-friendly materials– like tabletops made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes, and chairs made using sustainable materials.
The Highlands Ranch location plans to donate five percent of sales from its Pie Oh My concrete desserts to Food Bank of the Rockies, according to a release from the company,
The east coast burger joint opened a location in RiNo back in March. A third location is expected to open at Denver International Airport.
Shake Shack currently has more than 60 locations across the country, with several international shacks as well.
