Boulder — Boulder's newest Spanish restaurant has been open for less than a month and has already received national attention.

Corrida opened March 25 on the rooftop of the PearlWest Building in Boulder.

Just five days later, the restaurant was named as one of the top ten March restaurant openings in the country by USA Today.

Even before their grand opening, Corrida made several 'most anticipated' lists both for restaurants around the city as well as nation-wide.

Corrida was opened by chef Amos Watts and Bryan Dayton. The pair have been involved in other beloved Denver restaurants like Acorn, Old Major, Oak at Fourteenth and Brider.

The menu focuses on Basque-style steaks, tapas and gin and tonics.

Because of the restaurant's rooftop location, it's views of the flatirons are also getting high praise from reviews thus far.
