A modern home at 2135 Knollwood Dr. in Boulder has recently been listed for sale for $7.5 million.

The home, conveniently located on a 19,645-square-foot cul-de-sac lot just a mile from Boulder's iconic Pearl Street Mall, boasts a large outdoor living space that highlights its views of the mouth of Boulder Canyon with Boulder's famous Flatirons on Green Mountain above. The extensive use of exterior living spaces extends the footprint of the home from the main living areas with an outdoor kitchen, multiple seating areas and a hot tub.

The three-bedroom, five-bathroom, 5,075-square-foot home was built in 2017, replacing a home that was purchased for $2.1 million in 2015. It was designed by Boulder architect Annette Martin and currently held under trusts in her name and Dennis V. Martin's, according to pubic records. The new build made use of existing trees and site contours while incorporating new landscaping, according to a the home's listing.

The home's interior was created with touches such as custom-designed cabinetry and steel handrails built by local tradesmen, European-cut oak floors, custom lighting by Italian and French designers and custom tilework from Ann Sacks.
