KUSA — MaxFund is hoping that a little brown Chihuahua named Hope who was stolen from the shelter on Tuesday will be returned.
Hope was supposed to appear on 9NEWS Wednesday morning as the Petline9 animal up for adoption.
MaxFund said Hope disappeared after a man came to visit with him and walked out the door with him in a bag.
“We’re all pretty upset,” Maxfund volunteer coordinator Bree L’Tae said. “It’s cold. It’s winter.”
The shelter hopes that someone will bring Hope back, no questions asked.
MaxFund is located at 720 W. 10th Ave. It is a no-kill animal shelter and adopted center that’s known for taking in injured and abused pets.
