Respect Your Cat Day: Share your photos with 9NEWS

Celebrate your cats by sharing your top pics with the 'Near Me' button on the 9NEWS app.

COLORADO, USA — Respect Your Cat Day is celebrated every 28th of March.

Although its not as famous as National Cat Day (Oct. 29, duh), it's a perfect spring day to celebrate you and your feline bestie.

According to NationalToday.com, this holiday helps us acknowledge all the hard work our cats put into being our loyal companions.

"Your kitty pal has been there when you were happy — your kitty pal has been there when you were sad. Your kitty has, and always will, be there for you."

Celebrate your cats by sharing your top pics with the "Near Me" button on the 9NEWS app.  Colorado's cat community does not disappoint, sharing these amazing feline photos with 9NEWS.
