DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL — Target Corp. said it will open its long-awaited small-format store in downtown Denver on July 22.
It's the Minnesota retailer's (NYSE: TGT) first small-format store in the state. It's located at 1600 California St. and will occupy 28,000 square feet on the top two levels of the California Mall building on the 16th Street Mall.
The company is holding a job fair at the Denver Hilton City Center on May 11-12 and said it's looking to hire 80 people to staff the new store.
“We are building a talented team of about 80 new team members who will help us serve the residents and visitors of downtown Denver. We look forward to growing our team while providing them meaningful opportunities to build and develop skills for their careers,” said Ashlee Child, store team leader, Target, in a statement.
