Bob Marley celebration concert coming to Red Rocks in May

Ziggy Marley, Stephen Marley and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals will headline the celebration on the rocks.

MORRISON, Colo. — A 75th anniversary celebration in honor of reggae legend Bob Marley is headed to Red Rocks Amphitheatre this May.

Ziggy Marley & Stephen Marley, along with Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and special guests will perform a concert at the venue on May 31.

Doors for the all-ages show open at 5 p.m., with music starting at about 5:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. on AXS.com. General admission and reserved tickets are available and cost $60 to $130, plus service fees.

Marley, who died in 1981 at age 36, is widely credited with introducing reggae music to an international audience in the 1970s. 

Located just west of the Mile High City, Red Rocks Park features 738 acres of hiking trails, geological wonders and astounding views.  

Owned and operated by the City of Denver, Colorado, the concert venue at Red Rocks Park has been home to some of the most iconic concerts in history, from artists such as The Beatles, U2, and Sting.
