KUSA – A new bike loop will offer Coloradans some fresh air along with the chance to try out some local craft beer.

Four breweries – WestFax, Joyride, Hogshead and Seedstock – are teaming up to launch a West Side Brewery Bike Loop later this month.

The nearly 7-mile loop is laid out for cyclists to casually bike around the area while enjoying discounted local pints ($1 off a pint at each of the four breweries).

How it works:

To start, attendees can pick up a punch card at any of the participating breweries.

The loop officially starts at West Fax Brewing on West Colfax Avenue. From there, cyclists will travel to Joyride, Hogshead, and Seedstock. Cyclists can also opt to start at the brewery closest to them and work around the loop that way.

Those who complete the punch card can use it to redeem a free pint from any of the four breweries at a later date.

The breweries recommend that cyclists take the tour in groups, and that all participants have the appropriate safety equipment for cycling.

Organizers also strongly advise that participants monitor their alcohol intake and stay safe while cycling on streets.

West Side Brewery Bike Loop kicks off on April 28, and will be held on the last Saturday of each month through September.
