David Byrne of Talking Heads adds second Red Rocks show

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Fans hoping to see David Byrne at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer will get another chance at scoring tickets.

The musician, best known as the founding member of new wave band Talking Heads, announced a second show at the iconic venue for August 27 after an August 28 show quickly sold out.

Colorado will be the last stop on a tour spanning more than 70 cities.

Byrne will be joined onstage by a twelve-piece band and is expected to play songs from his new album American Utopia, along with some of his earlier hits.

Tickets range from $50.00 to $94.50 plus fees, and go on sale Friday, January 26 at 10 a.m.

Doors for both shows open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at about 7:30 p.m.
