DENVER — The River North (RiNo) Arts District has announced a $200,000 micro-grant fund to help support local artists during the COVID-19 crisis.
Anyone in the diverse community of artists, makers, performers and local businesses can apply for the grants, which range from $500 to $2,500.
"These individuals and organizations are truly the heart and soul of RiNo, making it the vibrant, engaging, and independent place that we all love," the RiNo Arts District said in a statement.
Organizers said preference will be given to applications received before April 10, and that funds will be distributed within 30-40 days of selection.
Funding will be available to:
- Galleries, artists, makers, creators, musicians, performers, teachers, and creatives in all disciplines
- Small locally owned businesses such as coffee houses, bars, restaurants, and independent gyms, etc.
- All applicants must currently be and plan to remain in the RiNo Art District
Grant recipients will also be given a free year of membership to the RiNo Art District, which comes with its own perks.
