FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Northern Colorado has a new option for teriyaki bowls.

Seattle-style teriyaki franchise Teriyaki Madness has opened its first-ever restaurant location in Fort Collins.

The new shop opened Friday at 1880 North College Ave. by owners Justin Ballek and Bobby Traylor.

The location is the 11th for Teriyaki Madness in Colorado, which also operates in Broomfield, Denver, Firestone, Greeley, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Johnstown, Littleton, Longmont, and Wheat Ridge.

Teriyaki Madness operates more than 130 shops across three countries.

"We plan on being there from open to close to make sure our employees are happy and comfortable on the job and ensure our customers keep coming back," co-owner Justin Ballek. "We have the ability to open up to three shops, so our growth doesn’t stop with this one. Once we’ve built that momentum with this shop in Fort Collins, we will use it to open shop number two."

Teriyaki Madness serves customizable teriyaki bowls filled with chicken, steak, salmon, or tofu stirred with veggies and a base of steamed white, brown or fried rice or Yakisoba noodles.

"There are some things in this world that you just can’t deny, and people’s love of Teriyaki Madness is one of them," Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness, said.

"From customers and franchisees alike, the demand for Teriyaki Madness is growing everywhere, and we have no plans to slow down anytime soon. Ballek and Traylor’s new location in Fort Collins is a big moment for us and is another important step in our mission to bowl over the whole country with delicious teriyaki."
