KUSA — Frightmare Compound, the Denver metro area's oldest haunted house, is giving back to Colorado this weekend by giving out free Halloween costumes for children and adults.

Costumes will be given out starting at 9 a.m. at Frightmare's location in Westminster this Saturday, Oct. 20.

The costumes are first-come, first-serve for any kid or adult until they run out. There's only one costume per person and that person must be present for them to receive a costume. Frightmare has costume sizes spanning from infants and up.

"We want to make sure everyone in our community has a reason to smile to Halloween season," a release from Frightmare read.

This is the haunted house's 35th year "scaring Colorado."

Frightmare Compound is located at 10798 Yukon Street in Westminster.
