A new adventure park in the Rockies about 40 miles west of Denver is officially opening the doors this weekend.
Lawson Adventure Park, located at 3424 Alvarado Rd. in Lawson, spans 42 acres in Clear Creek Country, just outside of Idaho Springs.
Lawson Adventure Park ( website here) also acquired multiple activities from Heritage Square, the Golden entertainment village that closed last year. Those activities include things like a bungee trampoline, a maze and other rides.
"Our sole purpose is to be an easily accessible atmosphere of fun and excitement for everyone, with activities designed to please the local residents and visitors to our state," said Lawson Adventure Park Founder and CEO Greg Brooks.
