A crash that damaged two Comcast telephone poles Friday morning has knocked out cellphone, landline and internet service for customers in numerous mountain communities.
A spokesperson for Comcast says that it stems from a car accident near Highway 8 and US 285 in Morrison.
This is impacting customers in Evergreen, Conifer, Genesee, Idaho Springs and Georgetown.
Comcast is working to repair the fiber and restore service.
There’s no word yet on when that will be completed.
