DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - McDonald’s Corp. — fresh off its aggressive ad campaign promoting the iconic Big Mac during the 2018 Winter Olympics — is rushing to roll out the new version of its Quarter Pounder sandwich made with 100 percent fresh beef.

The Oak Brook, Illinois-based burger behemoth (NYSE: MCD) said today the revamped sandwich is already available in 3,500 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, with rollout to all restaurants in the United States expected to be completed by early May.

The plan in all the restaurants with the new sandwich is to cook the product fresh when ordered, which will no doubt challenge the kitchens to keep up during peak times.

McDonald’s is in a hurry to get the fresh meat Quarter Pounder in as many mouths as possible because test results show it has been hugely popular with customers who have tried it.
